Vintage Matchbook Prints

Before matchbooks vanished from bars and lobbies, they were small masterpieces of graphic design — hand-lettered, gold-foiled, and given away by the millions. Every restaurant, hotel, clubhouse, and college town had one, and the good ones were as carefully designed as the room itself. This collection reproduces original matchbooks from the places worth remembering — printed on archival paper and framed to hang as a set or stand alone. The Beverly Hills Hotel. The Plaza. The Polo Bar. Some still pouring, some closed for fifty years. Available in five sizes, 12×12 through 50×50 inches.
